School Vouchers and Charter Schools
Summary
The ultimate responsibility and choice in how our children are
educated should be left to parents and/or guardians, not government.
Parents
and/or guardians might be fully
satisfied with the neighborhood public school. But what if they
are not happy with that school and want to explore alternatives such as
a private school or a charter school? They should be given the
opportunity and means to do that.
Proposal
Introduce or support legislation that would return ultimate
responsibility and choice to parents and/or guardians in how their children are educated.
